近期電影「破•地獄」自上演後, 帶來很大的迴響, 也破了很多紀錄, 成為香港史上最高票房的華語電影、以及香港最高入場人次的港產片。電影透過佛教的根源和道教的儀式, 認真的探討生與死的議題。影片中有很多發人深省的對白, 包括「不止死人要超渡, 生人也需要破地獄, 生人都有好多地獄。」究竟「地獄」是甚麼? 我們怎樣去理解? 又怎樣去「破」?

我從前曾攀上事業的高峰，也曾墮入人生的低谷。來加後決心信耶穌，祂扭轉了我的一生，領我從谷底中再見曙光！在信主後的新生活中，我嚐到在教會中真愛的甘甜，有弟兄姊妹如天使般與我同行，助我渡過生活的難關；但同時，也經歷了種種的破碎與失望，使我不能不重思我將要走的路。神用的特殊方法是先拆毀，後建立；先拔出，後栽種（耶1：10）。
就是這樣，「基智商匯」的理念漸漸萌芽。我本身是從商的，心裡有很大的感動，盼望能在商業的社會中實踐基督信仰，也值著信仰的力量回饋社會。然而，我卻感歎教會與社會之間往往存在著很多隔膜與不瞭解，以致有如兩個世界難以協調融和。「基智商匯」就是要成為一度橋樑、一個平台，讓兩者有溝通、有瞭解；讓教會踏入社區，也讓社區進入教會。因此，我們的理想是匯聚各界精英，分享基督的智慧；透過彼此聯絡，諦造蓬勃商機；燃點真情真愛，回饋建立社會；恩澤各民各族，至終能榮耀神也造福人。
在過去幾年間，事工從「基智商匯」延展至「基智早商匯」、「新午茶局」及至「基智查經班」，成為四度橋樑，四個平台 ，現在已經發展成一個基督徒商匯中心。我邀請您加入這行列，成為我們的同行者，但願這有如芥菜種的幼苗能發芽茁長，又如點點的燭光匯聚，成為社區與教會的祝福！
Words from the Founding Chair
I have once climbed to the pinnacle of my career, but have also plunged into the depths of despair. When I came to Canada, God led me to Him. He changed my life, guiding me from the dark valley of disillusionment to the light of life. As I set foot on this new journey, I tasted so tangibly the sweetness of true, selfless love — brothers and sisters in Christ who were like angels, walking alongside of me in the most challenging time of my life. However, I also experienced at the same time discouragement and brokenness, urging me to reflect deeply on the path I was to take. By God’s grace and His infinite wisdom, He first broke me down, then re-built me up, plucked me out, then re-planted me. (Jer 1:10)
It was out of this time of soul searching that the idea of Solomon Fellowship started to take root and grow. I have been a businessman for over 30 years, and therefore a passion inside of me started to well up. I desired to live out my faith in this world of commerce, and to contribute to this society through my faith-based values. Regrettably, I have come to see a lot of misunderstandings and barriers between the church and marketplace, finding harmony between the two worlds seemed to be as elusive as ever. Therefore, I have come to realize that the goal of Solomon Christian Business Association is to be a bridge between the two realms, a platform where we can foster mutual communication, understanding, ushering the church into the society, and the society into the church. Our vision is to converge people in the marketplace, that we may share with them the wisdom of Christ; through mutual communication, that we may create business opportunities; igniting true love and compassion inside each and everyone of us, that we may contribute to the society, blessings the nations, ultimately, benefitting man and glorifying God.
In the past two years, our ministry has blossomed from “Solomon Fellowship” to “Solomon Breakfast Networking” and now “Solomon Bible Study.” These are three bridges and platforms, and by God’s grace, perhaps we could even develop all of this into a Christian Business Community Center. I sincerely invite all of you to join us and walk with us! May this little mustard seed continue to sprout and blossom, may our light converge like candles, one day becoming a brilliant beacon of light, becoming a true blessing to the church and society!
